Review existing SRNL Coulometer control software written in HT Basic and complete the following to upgrade the Coulometer control software.
1. Create LabVIEW™ Flow Charts
2. Create LabVIEW™ Sample Screens
3. Create LabVIEW™ Sample Graphs
4. Create a LabVIEW™ Report Format
5. Attend design review meetings at SRS
6. Resolve design review comments
LabVIEW™ is a National Instruments software product. The position requires attending LabVIEW™ training to understand the latest version on the market. The position requires working from home, providing a computer, and providing the latest LabVIEW™ software version for use at home. The position also requires attending design review meetings at SRS.

Position requires a Masters of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline with 20 years proven performance in analytical chemistry; or a non-related MS
degree with 30 years proven performance in analytical chemistry.

The candidate must be recognized as an expert in Coulometer. This can be demonstrated by papers issued, lectures given, etc.
This position requires an indepth knowledge of the following items.
1. The chemistry used in the existing SRNL Coulometer control system
2. HT Basic software used on the the existing SRNL Coulometer control system
3. International Standards Organization (ISO) Coulometery standard
This position also requires a working knowledge of machine control, data logging, personal computers, and various Windows Operating Systems.

Physical Demands:
This position requires sitting at a desk, typing on a computer, reaching the keyboard with hands and arms, talking, hearing, and making phone calls.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be
made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Work Environment:
While attending design review meetings at SRS, the candidate will be exposed to normal noise level in the work environment.

Work Hours:
Work hours are flexible, on as needed basis, but the position requires responding to emails and phone calls during the SRNS work week. SRNS employees work a 40 hour work week. The 40 hour work week will consist of (4) 9 hour work days with (1) 8 hour work day and every other Friday off. The workweek includes SRNS holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Area Security Access:
A security clearance is not required; however, candidate must be capable of obtaining an L clearance if required to perform assigned duties.
